The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Review

12 May

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

Plot: the story follows an old lawyer and his efforts to discover why his friend Dr. Jekyll is acting all wonky and what his connection is with the fiend Mr. Hyde.

Would you recommend this book? Yes. I was very interested to learn that the original incarnation of pure evil, Mr. Hyde, was slighter than the average man, and certainly much smaller than Dr. Jekyll, while in every adaptation I’ve ever seen, he’s a hulking brute.

Sadly, I haven’t read this…among several of the other classics. Thanks for your review and reminder for me to get on the ball.
